Mestizo Perspective Too Real For Mainstream

  PART FIVE  Welcome back to this series of “Crazy Christianity”, so far we have seen the history of Christianity and how it has been modified by its hierarchy, which even in large strokes, is very complicated and convoluted. This Story is full of inherent manipulations, and human corruption always moving away from Jesus's original intentions. While they never focus on the essence of Jesus’s doctrine, as we saw in the Apostles Creed, they continue rolling out commandments as they see it convenient for them and the organization as a whole. We could easily expect this from a “hair tonic” salesman, and it is also very typical of any human corporation, it should not be expected of ANY institution truly guided by ANY DIVINE BEING.    Hello and welcome back to “Crazy Christianity”, where we are looking for the root cause, as to why Christians are so comfortable promoting ideas that are totally contrary to logic, and reason.  We have so far seen that beliefs and traditions were written many thousands of years ago and they seldom followed Jesus’s central theme POVERTY, LOVE, and EMPATHY, rather, there was an emphasis in creating a seemingly new framework of mythology, that would be same but different, and easy to market to the poor and ignorant.  We have seen evidence in history that these traditions and beliefs in Christianity have not been based on true and honest interpretations of what they believe that Jesus said. We have already seen the beginnings of Christian faith and tradition, and how since the very beginning, the men who were supposed to promote Christianity, gave up the essence of Jesus's teachings to keep protection from the emperor. Nevertheless, the Hierarchy of the newly formed church kept on claiming it was JESUS's CHURCH. The council of Nicea, the first catholic council was REQUESTED by the Roman Emperor Constantine to have the essential beliefs of Christianity written down and clarified for him. At that time Christians themselves had different perceptions of what Christianity was. This was also the time when the First Catholic church decided, not only what the essential beliefs were, but also which writings were going to be admitted to back up their beliefs, and which ones had to be eliminated.   Why are Christians so Crazy Hello, to all my friends, and all the general public watching this program on your television. Today I thought that speaking on why Christianity is so Crazy, and why it is one of the main factors of the craziness we live in, would be an appropriate theme to touch upon. This is the first part of five to answer the following question.  Why DO we as a society think so illogical?  To tackle that question, Let's first consider why themes like LGBTQIA, Abortion, and Minorities (Immigrants) are such controversial themes right now. Groundhog Day !!! What is “Groundhog Day”? Each February 2, on Groundhog Day, the members of the "Punxsutawney Groundhog Club" make the pilgrimage to Gobbler’s Knob – Phil’s official home. Who is Phil? Phil is the name of a groundhog. This Groundhog has a mission every year.  The aforementioned group waits for Phil every year, to leave his burrow and (legend has it) if he sees his shadow, six more weeks of winter are on the way. If he doesn’t, an early spring arrives.   On average, Phil’s prognostications have hit the mark just under 40% of the time since 2013, according to NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information. The question is, why do people still follow such inaccurate traditions? The simple answer is that people are complicated.
