Crazines of Christianity 3
Hello and welcome back to part three of CRAZY CHRISTIANITY!
We have already seen the beginnings of Christian faith and tradition, and how since the very beginning, the men who were supposed to promote Christianity, gave up the essence of Jesus's teachings to keep protection from the emperor. Nevertheless, the Hierarchy of the newly formed church kept on claiming it was JESUS's CHURCH. Crazy no? Well, it gets even crazier,
Starting in the year 325, until around the 1800s, Christianity had a strong influence in all kingdoms and governments at the time. Christianity was actually spread throughout the world because it was “Constantine Baby” it was Emperor Constantine’s road to power. You would imagine that since they were following Jesus it would have been a very just pure and ideal world, no? Well, history shows us that giving Christianity and the bible, political power does not make for a great, nor even a fair environment. Christians were in Power for 600 years and did a pretty horrible job of leading the world to Pseudo-holiness, nay not even basic goodness. Corruption Abuse, and all sorts of almost Satanic behavior have been evidenced during those times.
Let's be real, when you claim to have the “authority of God backing all your plays” who can stop you? That is why most of these times were called the “dark ages”. It was only when the science in the years around 1685(the age of enlightenment) that science started challenging these ridiculous beliefs that “ God is ALWAYS behind its church". It was a matter of Christian churches and their desire for power, that brought about the question “which church” is God with ? Up to this point Christianity had operated on the false assumption that “God is always guiding his church”.
I at this point have to admit, nothing can be further from the truth. The first clue is that The Christian church has had more divisions amongst itself than an average gigolo can have divorces.
Christianity is divided between Eastern and Western theology. In these two divisions, there are six branches: Catholicism, Protestantism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Anglicanism, Oriental Orthodoxy, and Assyrians. The question in this moment is “Where is the Holy Spirit?” Who is the Holy Spirit guiding, and who has been abandoned? These “flavors of Christianity have been born, because of land, money, ideology, power, etc. Just as a few examples; The orthodox church, excommunicated the Western church and vice versa, all over money and land, What? So who kept the Holy Spirit? If they both did, why is the Holy Spirit telling one church to excommunicate one church and the other to excommunicate the first one? Isn't the Holy Spirit supposed to bring Unity? The protestant church of England was born of a priest who tried to expose corruption within the catholic church, the holy inquisition excommunicated Martin Luther, so He started his church in England; so who did the Holy Spirit go with? Then within the Catholic church,
The crusades were wars, meant to take land and control from Islam. I guess this was not indicative of the peace of the Holy Spirit. The Inquisition was meant to dissuade any differential thinking among Christians, by force, or death, how very Jesus-like. I guess To promote brotherly love, teh Holy Spirit promoted and approved of slavery through the Christian churches back in those days. I'm glad the Holy Spirit finally changed its mind. Oh wait God doesn't change his mind! Right? So I guess it was teh crazy humans, I guess it was also the Holy Spirit that promoted the Killing of Indians because natives were not considered to be truly human, or maybe the Holy Spirit was absent in those meetings. The birth of Fascism in Italy was approved by many catholic hierarchies in Northern Italy, etc. Oh, wait it says here that, the Holy Spirit called in sick to that anointing. Sadly The world has seen how Dark it gets when Christianity and “Crazy Christian morals” lead politics. Having Christianity and/or religion of any type lead politics has never made a better world, on the contrary; corruption hypocrisy, and abuse of power have always been at an all-time high. Christianity has historically played with a double set of beliefs and claimed them to be realities. Having said that Christian entities always claim to be led by the “HOLY SPIRIT”. However I digress, The fruits of their labor, show to be anything but the “Holy Spirit”, so I say we should about this time have serious doubts, that ANY ORGANIZED RELIGION can be led by the Holy Spirit.
While history has taught us that men in power will invariably become corrupt. It is not Communism or Capitalism, it is not Islam or Christianity, it is not Judaism, Every religious and political system that grants power to a small group of people, or one man, with UNQUESTIONED AUTHORITY, eventually runs into this problem. Now to address the “craziness of Christianity”, The biggest problem we have with religion is that organized religion is NOT DEMOCRATIC, NOR RATIONAL it is essentially FASCIST, where a small group of men with PERSONAL INTERESTS AND BIASES, are given the “right to interpret God and his words” independently of scientific or logical evidence OR OBJECTIVE TRUTH. The result of this is ambivalent beliefs that fit this way today, and another way tomorrow, depending on the political landscape. Yet their corruption is always excused with “the Holy Spirit” and “God's mysterious ways”.
I'm sure the Holy Spirit and Jesus are TIRED of the hypocrisy, and the unavoidable human nature is the reason for Christianity to be so crazy because it is fundamentally human and thus flawed. Due to man's “freedom of choice,” the Holy Spirit can't act if the man does not agree.
Thus can't say “that the Holy Spirit always guides its church”, when we have so many divisions, and examples of corruption, and abuse within ALL CHRISTIAN CHURCHES.
Why is Christianity so crazy? Because it is being led and modified by humans, with human hearts, and human failures, just like any enterprise. Is it thought?
