Craziness of Christianity 4
Hello and welcome back to “Crazy Christianity”, where we are looking for the root cause, as to why Christians are so comfortable promoting ideas that are totally contrary to logic, and reason.
We have so far seen that beliefs and traditions were written many thousands of years ago and they seldom followed Jesus’s central theme POVERTY, LOVE, and EMPATHY, rather, there was an emphasis in creating a seemingly new framework of mythology, that would be same but different, and easy to market to the poor and ignorant. We have seen evidence in history that these traditions and beliefs in Christianity have not been based on true and honest interpretations of what they believe that Jesus said. Rather much of it has been based on what the Hierarchy of the churches thought was necessary for the Christian organization to survive at the time, and they called it,“tradition”. The evidence in history is clear, the abuse and Injustice sown through the ages in history, leaves no doubt, that Christianity was NOT FOLLOWING JESUS example. That is why today in our modern world, churches spend a lot of their energy and finances trying to justify those altered and often twisted actions, through Grooming and Marketing!! It is quite important to groom children from an early age into blindly believing, whatever that “flavor” of christianity wants to promote, while it is not so important to educate a child into clear and logical searching for FACTS, and questioning EVERYTHING. It seems more important to believe that Jesus is Divine than to follow his life example. It seems to be more important to have a set of “Dogmas”, to exclude others, than to love your neighbor as yourself. Having said that, there are many “pseudo-logical arguments” that seem to make sense to defend the present-day Organized Christianity, until you put them openly to the tests of fire. The first test is “show by your life example that you believe in what Jesus said and did. It is at this point that I find the typical spin to “Well tradition is just as important”, "It is the intention that counts"and “well no one can live like Jesus, because he was God”, Which explains one of the reasons why it was so important to declare “Jesus is divine” at the very beginning. Also just like the Jewish religion, our Christian Pharisees, think it is more important to follow the rules THAT THEY came up with AFTER JESUS DIED than to follow his example. This is a clear giveaway, they don't believe in Jesus but are willing to use his figure to enact a set of principles created by them, AFTER Jesus was gone. The second test is that which, science and reason request. Clear cut empirical evidence, based on archeology, and all its sister sciences. The attitude of facing science, is going away, and being replaced with “faith”; believe that which you cant see, and can't be proven , it becomes clear that there is NO EVIDENCE for the historical or moral principles that the Hierarchies have been steadfast on. It is at this point that it all becomes an argument of “faith” and “only God knows his mysterious ways”, yet these same people claimed a minute ago, that they (fill in with religion) knew exactly how God thinks and how “divine matters work”, do they know? I say nay !! What I find evidence for is that NO particular group of men have any “red phone to God”; nor do they have the authority to tell others what (if anything) God wants from each one of us. Not by their logic, nor by their example of life. Having said that, there are a few men and women, hidden in some of these religious organizations, ( I have met a few) who are truly examples of following Jesus's life. Yet funny none of them want to tell others how to live, nor do they agree with the loudmouth power seekers, nor do they ascertain that they are the only holders nor defenders of the faith. The only goal of the true Jesus follower is to have that intimate relationship with Jesus through prayer, of different types, and copying Jesus's life as much as possible, some even identical. They place their efforts and possessions on the next world, not this one. For these few people who follow Jesus, Christianity is just too crazy and corrupt, for them to get involved. I have been told by some of these people, “Let men of little faith deal with human affairs, mine is to follow Jesus”, as well as “our goal in life is to learn to be happy without hurting others”.
Now back to our “crazy Christian faith”. The fact that we have three main monotheistic religions Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, that claim to be “the true one”, and it excludes the others. Should give people a hint, that someone is not playing with a full deck of cards. We now have a problem of exclusion, does God talk to the Jewish Priests Anymore? If He does talk to Jewish priests, then maybe it is the Christians who are wrong, maybe they're all wrong, or is God just playing with them? Telling this one that Jesus is God, while telling our Jewish and Islam brothers, that Jesus is not God.
We have seen in prior videos many basics about the crazy origins of Christianity, which leads us to understand why Christianity is essentially so crazy, humans and their corruption have always gotten in the way. Having said that, Mathew 7:19-29 19 Inserts some human wisdom into the argument by claiming that Jesus said: “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” To me, it is clear that the HOLY SPIRIT IS NOT LEADING ANY ORGANIZED RELIGION! It seems that, Like any Human corporation, all Organized religions, change their marketing, grooming and rules to survive, not so much to serve God. You see it is clear Jesus' effort was not supposed to promote an “organized religion that would impact any politics”. That is the reason why here we are in the 20th century wondering how God could allow anyone in the Hierarchy to be a pedophile, or rape young women, (in the name of God), while arguing about the right of LGBTQIA to exist as a morally righteous group. Sure they base their arguments against LGBTQIA on some religious and hypocritical zealots, who claim that is “unnatural” or “sinful” because of two or three times that this item is referred to in the bible(and improperly translated). Yet there are hundreds of other commandments in the bible, which are capriciously or conveniently ignored because according to them, “not everything in the bible is literal” or because “God works in Mysterious ways”.
I find this attitude proper of a child in elementary school, but not of a man nor an organization, who is supposed to represent the will of God, for his “loved children”.
We will leave this here for today, please like follow and comment, so you can get notifications as soon as I publish another video on "Craziness of Christianity". May you have a great weekend and see you next week.
