Is The Holy Spirit With Christians Today

Archbishop: If a Synod proposal is at odds with the Gospel, that’s not of the Holy Spirit



If we hold theh gospel to Jesus's reference the law and the prophets can be resumed to two commandments: 

"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and greatest commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Thus we can with confidence say; that anything that is against loving your brethren; is against the Holy Spirit. 





“The Holy Spirit is Christ’s Spirit. He is the Spirit of the Father and the Son, and so he is only ever going to be saying things that are consistent with what Christ has revealed to us in the apostolic tradition,” Fisher told CNA in an interview in Rome this week.

The Australian Dominican explained that if some synod proposal is “radically at odds” with the Gospel and the apostolic tradition, “that’s not of the Holy Spirit, because we cannot have Christ and the Holy Spirit at war with each other.”

I totally agree with teh bishop in teh letters in red, however, the danger comes in the added "apostolic tradition". The Apostolic Tradition does not bear the same gravity as the gospel.







“Catholics like to think that the Holy Spirit elects the pope, the Holy Spirit chooses our bishops and priests for us, the Holy Spirit does this and that. And there’s no doubt that God’s hand, God’s providence, is there in all those important things in our lives and in the life of the Church.





But we’ve also had some terrible popes in history. We’ve had some awful priests and bishops and awful things happen in people’s lives. And was the Holy Spirit absent? No, but he permitted those things to happen.”





“So let’s not pin everything on the Holy Spirit that happens at the synod or anywhere else in our lives. I think that’s actually superstitious to do that,” he added. 


I as teh Author of this Blog conclude that; we as Christians must, train and study teh facts, and ignore teh myths. There are way too many " apostolic Traditions" and other "human and cultural errors" that guide Christian churches today.






Way too often in history, Religion has set itself against science, only to have to come back, accept defeat years and decades later, and quietly region the ranks as if nothing had happened. 
It is not teh Church's fault as much as it is ours for BLINDLY deciding to follow what, so many scientists have told us, it is a mistake. 






Now we come to the question,  How can we tell when the Holy Spirit is truly acting?
According to teh bible the fruits or bi-products of the Holy Spirit are as Follow




When teh Hierarchy of teh churches follows or chooses paths that produce, Violence, Hatred, Marginalization of Others, and Violence and abuse upon the weak and poor, they are choosing the path left by Satan.
It is in these cases that it befalls upon us, regular people to point to the Priests, The Bishops, and Even teh Popes or Heads of different Christian denominations, that , they are wrong, and that they should correct their ways. 




When and if you meet teh maker of all, we will not be able to hide behind " well teh priest made me do it" ; doesn't it sound like teh "original sin?" did that help to exculpate Adan or Eve ? No !! It is OUR  responsibility to look for the well-being of those who are weaker than US either politically or socio-economically. Lest We want to face teh question " CAI, CAIN what have you done with your brother ?" 
We are teh keepers of our brothers, to DEFEND THEM NOT TO ABUSE THEM BECAUSE WE DONT UNDERSTAND THEM, above all religious precepts LOVE SHOULD WIN IN THE END, if it doesn't IT IS ALL ON US.

  People quite often believe and or are drawn into marketing lies. Most of us, believe that once the lie is proven wrong, the lie will go away. However, I think we need to look at another version of “Pavlov's response”; Pavlov was a scientist that trained some dogs to salivate at the sound of a bell; by associating, feeding time with the sound of a bell.
